Your dates and chosen car category stay with the booking all the way to confirmation.

Search your trip
Choose a pick-up location, date and time, then set your return date and time. Results are checked for those dates.

Compare car categories
Review the car category, features, total price for your dates, pick-up desk and cancellation terms before choosing.

Choose your options
Add any optional extras or insurance shown for that car. Their prices appear in the booking summary before checkout.

Enter driver details and confirm
Provide the main driver's details and accept the rental terms. You can check out as a guest; an account is optional.

Pay and collect the car
Checkout shows what is due online and at pick-up. After confirmation, car.al emails your booking voucher to show at the desk.
Payment depends on the rental
Some bookings are paid in full online. Others collect a booking fee online and the remaining rental amount in cash at pick-up. The checkout summary shows the amount and method before you pay.
Check cancellation terms
Cancellation rules vary by car and rate. Review the policy shown on the car page and again at checkout before confirming.
Bring your driving licence
The main driver needs a valid licence for the booked vehicle at the desk. Keep your confirmation and voucher handy for pick-up.
